Australian batting sensation David Warner is known for being an intimidating cricketer on the field. Although he appears to be humble off the floor, ‘The Reverend’ has been involved in several aggressive showdowns in the past.
However, he claims to have changed his approach now. Still fresh from his recent campaign with Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dream11 IPL 2020, Warner will face the Indian cricket team from November 27. The tour will see both teams lock horns in all three formats- Test, ODI, and T20. Thus, it will demand the best from both sides.

Being two of the strongest teams in Cricket, the Indian squad might not hesitate to throw some verbal beef on-field. That said, David Warner is ready to deal with it. At the age of 34, Warner claims himself to have evolved and he no longer desires to participate in such aggressive showdowns. Instead, he vows to accept it sportingly, just like every single game.

David Warner opens up on his plans for India
While Warner is not ready for altercations, he is aware of receiving it from the other side. As per the reports of Times Of India, the left-handed batsman has recently talked about it.
Warner said, “I’ve just recently turned 34, so my days are numbered, when .. you’re in the 30s. There’s obviously a risk element, but there’s obviously a cricket-smart element to it as well. I’ll always draw from that, mate. To try and get engaged, to try and get engaged, that’s the way they like to play as well.”
He added, “We’re learning over time, trying not to engage in that. Probably try and reversing the effect by trying and ignoring it, trying to take it on board, and using it against them by using your bat. For myself, it’s about getting off to a good start and taking calculated risks in that middle-overs period, if we’re talking about 50-overs.”
