MS Dhoni still regarded as one of the best finishers of the game, despite the latter stages of his career. With a diverse batting technique and intellectual cricketing mind – Dhoni has made his name as one of the most successful captains in India. In addition to proving his versatility with the Indian team, Dhoni has led the Chennai Super Kings to three IPL titles and won the now-defunct Champions League T20 twice.
Over the years, Dhoni has become one of the most successful captains in cricket history. Also, his energy, execution, and strategy have helped him to grow into one of the greats. The wicketkeeper-batsman was instrumental in CSK’s success. Since the inception of the IPL, Dhoni has been an indispensable part of the Yellow Army.
Former Australian batsman Michael Hussey has also expressed his opinion that CSK skipper, MS Dhoni is the best finisher of all time in the cricketing world. Hussey praised Dhoni and said that the 38-year-old Dhon knows how to keep his coolness, and his confidence, which can help to set the game.
“Dhoni is the greatest finisher the cricket world has ever produced,” Hussey told Sanjay Manjrekar in an interview.
“MS Dhoni can keep his cool, and make opposition captain blink first. He also has unbelievable power. When he has to clear the ropes, he knows he can do it. He has that kind of confidence.

Hussey also revealed that he had even tried to learn a trick or two about chasing while watching Dhoni play for Chennai Super Kings. According to Hussey, the former Indian skipper believes that the man who is in a state of panic will eventually win the game.
Hussey said: “I tried to avoid getting 12 or 13 over. I learned this from MS Dhoni. He is incredible. He believes the last panics win the game.”
Hussey revealed that the great players are not losing for long. Along with Dhoni, Hussey also praised Ricky Ponting and said he could not use the damage to influence these great players.
“They don’t get beaten for long. If they lose, they move on quickly. They don’t allow their thinking to hurt or win. They are always consistent and be it, MS Dhoni or Ricky Ponting”.
