Adelaide Strikers sets 176 for Hobart Hurricanes. With quickfire knocks, Jake Weatherald (51 off 43) and Matt Renshaw (63 off 41) formed a crucial partnership between the wickets, which was set to strengthen the Strikers’ innings. Unfortunately, Riley Meredith was the man on fire, breaking the important partnership upon removing Weatherald and Renshaw in the same over, and Jonathan Wells 17 off 13 in the following over which helped in restricting the flow of runs, and boosting the prospects for Hurricanes. The next batter Thomas Kelly contributed 28 off 18 who fell short for Nathan Ellis.
On the other side, the Hurricanes bowling unit displayed a decent performance and will be hoping to display the same consistency from their batting unit too.
Adelaide Strikers Innings 175-5 (20 Overs).
