Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is enjoying his time in full lockdown. He is very busy these days in social media interactions with his former colleagues. In addition, the 38-year-old always comes up with a set of difficult questions for them in a live session. Yuvraj recently attended a live session with Jaspreet Bumrah, in which the former Indian pacer was asked some tough questions.
Yuvraj and Bumrah share a strong bond. They played for Team India long before the left-hander bid farewell to all forms of cricket last year. Furthermore, they are part of the same IPL franchise in the 12th edition of the T20 tournament.
Yuvraj Singh asks some tough questions to Jasprit Bumrah
During the interaction, the two met for the first time, how and when they discussed different topics related to cricket. In the meantime, Yuvraj Singh also conducted a round-up of questionnaires with Bumrah. In a question, 26-year-old asked Bumrah to choose between Harbhajan Singh and Ravi Ashwin as the best spinner. Who do you think is a right off-spinner? R Ashwin or Harbhajan Singh,” Yuvraj asked.
In answering the question, Bumrah asked the reason for asking controversial questions. He grew up by watching the Indian fast bowler Harbhajan Singh and played with Ashwin in the Team India. He said “Why do I have so many controversial questions? I played with Aish (Ashwin). But I grew up watching Harbhajan Singh. So Bajju pa, it is,” said Bumrah.
Later, Bumrah was asked to select a better batsman between Virat Kohli or Sachin Tendulkar. In answer to that question, the Ahmedabad-born pacer has said he has not played enough cricket to rate such famous cricketers. Eventually, however, he took on the name of the master blaster rather than the current Indian captain in terms of a better batsman.
“Look, Yuvi Pa, I’ve been playing international cricket for only four years. I give you a long answer. I have no experience judging them. Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli. I was in no position because they played a lot more cricket than me.
“Paaji ki fan toh puri duniya hai, Virat khud bhi hai toh mai paaji ka nam lunga, Sachin sir (The whole world is a fan of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat himself is his fan so I will go with Sachin Tendulkar).” Bumrah said.
