The former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, has earned the reputation to be one of the international cricket’s coolest players. It’s incredibly unusual to see him get upset on the field. Also, he is respected most by the fans and cricketing brotherhoods. However, a human being is always a breakthrough, and Dhoni is like one of us at the end of the day. The former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan revealed in a recent show that the 38-year-old got angry during a practice back in 2006.
In international cricket, the cricketer ranked as one of the gems. In the history of Indian cricket, he has done much more than any skipper. BlueMen succeeded in winning several World Cups along with a Champions Trophy during his captaincy. Dhoni’s captainship wasn’t the only thing that helped Team India win several vital games around the world; he is famous for his coolness as well as brilliant batting.
Irfan Pathan recalls an instance from Team India’s practice session back in 2006-07
Dhoni has undoubtedly undergone many ups and downs throughout his career. But his calm, controlled and cool attitude on the field remained constant throughout his career. In comparison, Irfan Pathan recalled that the former pacer lost his coolness in a case.
In the 2006-2007 warm-up, the team had a practice match in which all right batsmen had to bat with the left hand and vice versa. He said that in 2006-2007, Dhoni was given out in this match but found it to be a wrong decision. He threw his bat and went into the changing room after that. The Indian gloveman, Irfan, also gets angry.
“In 2006-07 it was. During the warm-up, there was a game in which the batsman on the right batted with his left hand and vice versa. We used to get into our practice after we finished the warm-up. There were two teams during the warm-ups. It was once sent out to MS Dhoni that he felt he wasn’t right. He threw his bat and took a rush to the dressing room and came to practice later. So, he gets angry, “said Irfan Pathan in an interview.
