An NZC spokesperson confirmed that India’s ODI tour of New Zealand, which was slated to take place this summer, has been postponed to 2022. According to the ICC’s Future Tour Program, Virat Kohli and his teammates were scheduled to play 3 one-day internationals versus the Black Caps as a portion of the Super League to qualify for the 2023 World Cup on the subcontinent.
Furthermore, it has been discovered that the visit will take place after the completion of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia later next year. After the 2021 T20 World Cup, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Bangladesh will be the only 3 touring teams in New Zealand. Following that, from 04th March to 03rd April, New Zealand will host the Women’s World Cup.
