Being praised by the great Sachin Tendulkar itself is considered to be a great accomplishment. Whenever he praises a cricketer, that player always gets boosted up. Many players who were encouraged by the “god of cricket,” notably Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav, started building themselves at the top level of the sport. Here is why Tendulkar Praises Mohammed Siraj
The former Indian batsman has now praised the pace bowler Mohammed Siraj. Tendulkar hailed the pacer’s commitment and intensity, describing him as a ‘quick learner’.
Tendulkar stated that the 27-year-old didn’t even appear to be a newcomer to Test cricket, as he has been a formidable force while making his red-ball debut versus Australia during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21.
Siraj builds up his spells so beautifully: Sachin Tendulkar
Throughout the ten Tests he has featured so far, the pacer has 33 wickets at an avg of 27.7. This has 2 four-fer and 1 fifer. The legendary Mumbai batsman hailed his abilities recalling Siraj’s debut series.
In a recent interaction Sachin Tendulkar said – “When he played last year in Australia when he made his debut in Melbourne, it never appeared like he was playing his first match. That was the maturity he showed. He builds up his spells so beautifully and thereon, he has not looked back. Every time I see him, there is something new that he introduces,”
“There is spring in his legs and that is what I like to see. His run-up… you can see he is full of energy. And he is one of those bowlers… when you look at him, you cannot figure out whether it’s the first or the last over of the day. He is coming at you all the time. He is a proper fast bowler and his body language is so positive. That is what I like. He is a fast learner,” he added.
