Yuvraj Singh: Don’t lose Patience
Former star cricketer Yuvraj Singh has appealed to people of the country that it is important to follow the practice of social distancing to avoid getting infected by the deadly coronavirus.
He also urged everyone to do everything possible to keep their immune system healthy to fend off the dreaded disease. He told the people not to lose patience in fighting the disease and it is a matter of time.
The two-time World Cup winner spoke to his former teammate Rohit Sharma through Instagram Live on Tuesday and said, “I am getting the feeling that people in Delhi are losing patience. I would like to tell them that it is a matter of time. It is important that people practice social distancing. They should know how to keep their immune system better. People should look to focus on themselves.”
He further said it was like voting and can’t think what will happen if I don’t vote. “It is just like voting. You cannot think, what will happen if I do not do my duty. It is just about patience. Everyone needs to look at it individually,” he added.
India has reported 4,789 confirmed cases as per the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday.

The 38-year-old has thanked health-care professionals; the nurses and doctors fighting at the frontlines for keeping the people safe.
He tweeted on Tuesday, “We salute our doctors, nurses & healthcare workers who are at the forefront of the Covid19 fight. Thank you for keeping us safe! The wishes of a billion Indians are with you.”
Yuvraj has been active in the fight against the dangerous virus which has killed 109, along with other cricketers.
He recently donated 50 lakh rupees to PMCaresFunds and asked others also to contribute their bit to battle the pandemic.
