23-year-old Rishabh Pant replaced Wriddhiman Saha behind the stumps for the second Test against Australia in Melbourne. Rishabh Pant has a knack for getting under the skin on the oppositions with his constant words while wicket-keeping. The 23-year-old’s favorite preys are seemingly the Aussies. Rishabh Pant’s banter with Australian skipper Tim Paine became the talk of the town, the last time the Indians played a Test series on Australian soil.

IND vs AUS: Wade mocks Pant for his weight
Something similar happened this time as well, as Rishabh Pant got the better of Australian batsman Mathew Wade in the second Test. Rishabh Pant was caught getting involved in satirical crosstalk with southpaw Matthew Wade during Australia’s second innings against the Indians. As captured in the stumps-mic, Wade can be heard taking a jab at Rishabh Pant’s weight when Pant tried to make fun of the southpaw’s batting style.
The following incident took place in the 25th over when Pant was constantly laughing from behind the stumps while Wade was batting. Wade seemingly got frustrated with Pant’s chortle and decided to give it back to the Indian gloveman. “You’re 25 kilos overweight. Are you 20 kilos, 25, or 30 kilos overweight? You’re looking at yourself on the big screen again? Very funny watching yourself on the screen,” Wade was heard saying in the stump-mic.
