With the IPL 2021 set to take place from September 19 to October 15, the opening round of matches might take place in Oman. In terms of the T20 WC format, the first round will include eight teams: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Scotland, Namibia, Ireland, Netherlands, Oman, and Papua New Guinea.
Four of these teams will compete in the Super 12 round, which will begin on October 24. For this round, the teams will be divided into two groups of six. The big event will be placed in three locations: Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
