England all-rounder Sam Curran and Indian Pace machine Mohammed Siraj were seen in high voltage words of exchange in between the pitch and this incident has occurred during the 4th day of the 1st Test between India and England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
Well, this incident took place during the 74th Over of the England innings, Where their skipper Joe Root has made his 21st Century and Curran was along with him during the crucial knock. At this particular moment, England has already extended their lead by 150 runs and Curran has tried to increase the lead with his furious batting skills.
And in this attempt of extending the lead – Curran has displayed some powerful shots. And then the actual scene comes into place – Siraj has dropped a ball, which was short and wide from Sam Curran. After this delivery, Siraj went to Sam and tried to exchange few words – He was seen fuming on him but Sam tried to stay calm and ignore his words. After this incident, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has come into the picture and calmed down Siraj and asked him to focus on his line and length.
During this incident, Sam Curran stayed calm and responded to Siraj with a gesture signaling him to go back to his mark and bowl – And this was very irritating to Siraj. But things were seen settled after the arrival of Virat Kohli.
In the very next over Siraj got hit for a boundary from the left-hand batsman Curran. Siraj tried to get his wicket but he was not successful in doing that.
And this was not the first time that Siraj was involved in an exchange with English players in the series. On the 3rd Day of 1st Test, Siraj has picked 3 wickets and also played some excellent shots in the over of James Anderson.
