Sachin Tendulkar, who is currently playing for the India Legends in the Road Safety tournament, pulled a small prank over the medical staff during a COVID-19 test. The Master Blaster was in a mischievous mood ahead of their clash against England Legends on Tuesday.
Sachin Tendulkar’s light-hearted prank
Sachin Tendulkar screamed in pain when a member of the medical staff took the nasal swab from the ace Indian batsman. The staff member got nervous seeing Tendulkar’s reaction. However, the God of Cricket smiled immediately and revealed that he was just pulling a joke on him.
Sachin Tendulkar uploaded the following video on his Instagram handle. He captioned the video “I’ve played 200 Tests and 277 COVID Tests! A little prank to lighten the mood, “Kudos to our medical staff here for helping us to play for a cause!”.

Road Safety Series Preview
The Road Safety Series resumed on 5th March this year after it was suspended last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Indian Legends were up against Bangladesh in the opening match on March 5. Bangladesh gave a target of 110 runs for the Indians to chase. The legendary opening pair of Virender Sehwag and Tendulkar hunted down the score with ease as Indian won the match by 10 wickets.
Sachin made a total of 33 runs in 26 balls while Sehwag went on to dismantle the Bangladeshi bowlers. 42-year-old Sehwag scored a blistering 80 runs off only 35 deliveries. Sehwag smashed a total of 10 fours and 5 sixes to win for India in 10.1 overs. India will face England in their next Road Safety Series match on Tuesday, March 9.
