The Big Bash League (BBL) of Australia Conducts many matches among teams. On Saturday, Sydney Thunder was playing against the Hobart Hurricanes which pulled off an excellent piece of fielding.
Hobart’s Nathan Ellis showed great reflexes to hang on to a catch to dismiss Usman Khawaja, who originally misjudged whether the ball was coming to his side or not. Scott Boland bowled a short delivery which Khawaja mistimed way at the Sydney Showground Stadium in the 12th over of the match.
Having gotten in position at deep square leg, the ball was right straight down Ellis’ throat, Australian bowler got down on one knee at that time to take a low catch.
The ball arrived a bit higher than the bowler expected and Ellis showed excellent awareness he took that catch by keeping his arms up falling back above his head immediately.
