Team India skipper Virat Kohli registered his name in the top 10 ICC T20I Rankings after his wonderful performance in the T20I match against the West Indies team. The right-handed batsman scored an unbeaten 94 runs in the first T20I match to help his team chase down the towering score of 207 in Hyderabad. In the decider match on Wednesday, King Kohli scored an unbeaten 71 in just 29 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 4 fours. In the bargain, he helped his team reach 240/3 in 20 overs.

Virat Kohli was awarded the Man of the Series for his outstanding performance. The Indian skipper is now placed in the Top10 in ICC T20I Ranking.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul, who also successfully completed his half-century in the first T20I match, and then scored 91 runs in 56 balls at Wankhede jumped three spots to reach 6th position in the ICC T20I Rankings.
The Indian vice-captain, Rohit Sharma, who did not perform that well in the first two matches, scored 71 runs in 34 balls in Mumbai, to showcase his signs of form in the shortest format. Despite showing the outstanding performance, he lost one spot to slip to 9th position in the rankings.
The 32-year-old player, who is the first Indian to have hit 400 sixes in international cricket, scored 94 runs in the three-match T20I series against Kieron Pollard’s Team.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are now the leading run-scorers in T20Is. Currently, both of them are tied at 2,633 runs each. The Indian skipper has got to these runs in 75 matches in 70 innings at an average of 52.66. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, needed 104 matches in 96 innings to score the same number of runs at an average of 32.10.
