During a Question and Answer session with fans, the ex-Australia cricketer Brad Hogg compared Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson to Ricky Ponting and Sachin Tendulkar, respectively.
During the coronavirus lockout, former Australia cricketer Brad Hogg continued his contact with fans on Facebook. Hogg, who was also involved on social media, had a candid chat during a Question and Answer session with cricket fans about different topics. Brad Hogg was asked to pick a ‘Fab 4’ in his latest session with fans, that is, the top 4 current batsmen he feels fit the style of some of the biggest players in cricket history. Brad Hogg compelled the fan to inquire and selected some major names without much of a surprise.
One fan asked Brad Hogg during the Question and Answer session about who he thinks would be the players who could be Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara and Sir Donald Bradman next. Hogg has compared Kane Williamson to Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli to Ricky Ponting and Sir Don Bradman to Steve Smith.
He stopped short of comparing Pakistan’s Babar Azam with Brian Lara but said Azam still has plenty to catch up with.
Recently, a cricket fan asked Brad Hogg to pick one player who he feels will currently lead the world’s best players. To everyone’s surprise, Brad Hogg selected New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson up ahead of Team India skipper Virat Kohli as his World XI skipper.
