On Wednesday (06-05-2020), India captain Virat Kohli took to his Instagram account to give tribute to his dog “Bruno”, who lost its life after living with him for long 11 years.
With the image of Bruno, the Indian skipper quoted “ My Bruno, Rest in peace. Although you graced our lives for a long 11 years with love & affection, you made a deep connection for a lifetime. You have gone to a better place today. God bless your soul with peace.”
Virat Kohli’s better half & Bollywood diva Anuska Sharma also posted an image with Virat Kohli & Bruno on her Instagram account and captioned the picture with writing “RIP Bruno”.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been spending their whole time at their home only amid the ongoing lockdown which is in place to control the spreading of the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the whole country.
On Tuesday (05-05-2020), Virat decided to pull the leg of teammate Cheteshwar Pujara with an old picture from a Test match. In that picture, Virat Kohli can be seen taking a brilliant single-handed catch at second slip whereas Cheteshwar Pujara watches his spectacular performance in the cricket field.
By uploading the picture, Virat captioned “After lockdown, the first session would be like @cheteshwar_pujara. I hope that you will go to the ball pujji.”
Pujara took this post sportingly and gave an amusing reply. “ Yes captain Kohli, and I will catch the ball with both my hands @virat.kohli,” Pujara replied to this tweet.
Now, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates are trying their best to raise funds for the COVID-19 relief from a 2016 IPL match up for auction. In that match, RCB defeated Gujarat Lions at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
