Umesh on His Performance In 2015
“In the 2015 World Cup, I got the chance. Performing well for my country I was very happy. When I was not added in the 2019 World Cup team I felt disappointed,” Umesh pointed.
Umesh Yadav was removed for the ODIs and T20s squad in the series against New Zealand but feels that against the Kiwis he will make his presence felt in the two-match Test series.
“I’m looking forward to this, honestly (playing Tests in New Zealand). In New Zealand, I’m eager to play red-ball cricket. In recent times I have performed well and I’m in good touch too. My series was also good against Bangladesh. My selection for the New Zealand Test series is pretty positive”.
“I will give my 100 percent if I am selected. I did a lot of work on my line and my frequency. I hope for the best,” he signed off.
