Batters with the highest Test averages: India has not been an easy place to bat in recent times in Tests. Batsmen have found run-scoring mighty difficult in Indian conditions. Indian batsmen barring a couple have also struggled to come to terms with challenging wickets on offer. But traditionally batters have found a safe haven in India in Tests. The huge amount of runs they have scored in India is a testimony to this fact.
