Explosive Return of Hardik Pandya:
After a long absence from cricket, finally Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder made a fantastic comeback. He went to the United Kingdom (UK) previously to seek the treatment of his acute back injury. For the first time, he experienced the injury during the Asia Cup in UAE last September.
Hardik Pandya showed for Reliance 1 when his team played against Bank of Baroda on Friday. In this game, along with Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan and Bhubaneswar Kumar are also playing on behalf of Reliance 1.
Pandya was playing at number 4 and scored 38 off 25 deliveries with the help of one four and four sixes. When Reliance 1 were battling at 38/2, and already lost the important wickets of Shikhar Dhawan and Vishnu Solanki, then Pandya came to the crease.
With Saurabh Tiwari, he made a partnership and handled the innings. This duo was able to add 53 runs for the third wicket partnership.
The score of Pandya:
At first, Pandya’s beginning was slow, scored only 7 runs in 12 deliveries. But later he picked up the pace and hit two sixes in the over of Varun Sood and went on smashing two more sixes off the same bowler in the 13th over.
Hardik Pandya will get game-time to enhance himself for the T20I World cup, which is going to be held in Australia. In his absence, the Indian team has been battling in the lower order and his presence in the national team is very important.
In the place of Hardik, Shivam Dube had been performing the role of an all-rounder. But his performance is not that impressive.
The team India will come to action in the limited-overs format next month while the team is going to South Africa to play three ODIs. And all are waiting to see Hardik Pandya, who might make a remarkable come back to the international format in this series.
