Captain Virat Kohli, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, and batsmen Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Mayank Agarwal put their skills to the test ahead of a longer England tour that begins on June 18 with the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand. All of the players seen in the video are a part of the BCCI’s 20-player team for the six Tests in England. Wriddhiman Saha, the wicketkeeper, and KL Rahul, the batter, are also awaiting fitness clearance.
Schedule to hold the World Test Championship finals @Ageas Bowl in Southampton
The first-ever WTC Final will be held at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. Prior to that, New Zealand will play England in a two-Test series beginning on June 2 at Lord’s. The second Test will begin on June 10 in Birmingham’s Edgbaston.
Then, from August 4 to September 14, there will be a five-match Test series between India and the hosts, England. The Tests against England will be held at Lord’s, Trent Bridge, The Oval, Headingley, and Old Trafford.
