Suryakumar Yadav Displayed His Abilities To Perform Under Pressure With Cool Head:
Suryakumar Yadav not only demonstrated his finishing abilities with the bat on Wednesday, but also demonstrated that he has a very calm head on his shoulder. The Mumbai Indians star reacted in style to Virat Kohli’s sledging as he propelled his team to a thumping six-wheeled victory.
To help Mumbai Indians chase down 165 with five balls to spare, Suryakumar Yadav scored an unbeaten 79 off just 43 balls. They studded his knock with ten fours and three sixes. At one point, Mumbai was reeling at 72 for 3, but Suryakumar Yadav remained until the end to take his side above the finishing line.
The Starting Contest:
It took place on the final ball of the 13th over when the incident occurred. The right-handed batsman hit the final ball of the over towards the covers where Virat Kohli was standing after hitting Dale Steyn for a four on the previous delivery. The ball was fielded by the RCB skipper and he began walking towards Suryakumar Yadav.
Kohli was looking squarely at Suryakumar Yadav, and Suryakumar Yadav also did not take his eyes off the RCB skipper. As Kohli came and stood right next to the Mumbai Indians batsman, the staring contest went on for a while until the latter decided to walk away without saying anything as he left the RCB skipper red-faced.
Kohli was definitely trying to get inside Surya’s skin but the latter managed to keep his calm and went on to do his job with the bat.
