The perennial challengers for the title, RCB were fearing whether they are repeating the mistakes of the past. After a strong start to the tournament, RCB stuttered. They went on to lose three games in a row. RCB (against SRH) were shot out for 68, the lowest score posted this season. They failed to chase down a score of 145 against RR. It was the lowest score that a team failed to chase this season.
RCB failed to defend a below-par score against GT. The three losses exasperated RCB fans. They started fearing if RCB are going to go down without a fight. And thankfully they did! RCB went on to win a close game against CSK. It lifted the spirits of their fans. With this win, the sixth of their season, they are now back into the playoffs race big time.
