The Indian former captain added that the BCCI ( Board of Control for Cricket in India) is going to host an exhibition game between Asia XI and World XI which is scheduled to take place at the new Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad in March.
Sourav Ganguly expresses his interest to make a biopic of him
The 47-year-old BCCI president has expressed his interest to make a biopic of him. There has been a common trend set in India that a biopic is created with legendary players.
Sushant Singh Rajput who has played the role of captain cool MS Dhoni in MS Dhoni’s biopic- ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’. has stolen the spotlight. MS Dhoni’s biopic success also paid the way for other legendary cricketers to create their own. The World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev’s biopic ’83’ is expected to hit the screens in the new year in which Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is portraying his role.
There is also a strong possibility that the film could also be made with Sourav Ganguly. The latter has also revealed which actor he wants to see in his own biopic. During a recent talk show, Ganguly revealed that Hrithik Roshan is his favorite actor and he would want him to act in his role. “My favorite actor is Hrithik Roshan. He is most dear to me. I want him to act in my role,” Sourav Ganguly added.
