The 21 day lockdown period has helped the cricketing fans across different communities to unite through social media. One such popular fraternity that joined the bandwagon on Thursday was the Bollywood.
Bollywood’s sensation and heartthrob won left the cricket fans awestruck with his reply when he was asked about his favorite among Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni on Twitter by one of his fans. To the question, Shahid Kapoor retweeted the same with the question, “Mummy or Papa?” (Mother or Father).
With this reply, he showed that both the cricketers have their own importance in the Indian team, and leaving out any one of them from the team would certainly be a matter of loss.
MS Dhoni Career Statistics:
The former Indian captain MS Dhoni has been on a prolonged break after India’s loss in the semi-finals of the 2019 world cup against New Zealand. In recent times, he was spotted serving the Indian army, after taking a break from his cricketing career. His place in the T20 Squad for the world cup has been looked upon in a very apprehensive way, as he has been away from the cricket field for long. And the selectors of BCCI are not in a mood to take a chance while listing the names for T20 Squad for the world cup, by giving Dhoni a chance while they were not sure about his form.
In the meantime, the Indian Cricket coach has made it very clear Dhoni’s performance in IPL would determine his place in the T20 Squad.
Virat Kohli And Cricket In 2020:
Virat Kohli and his men in blue did not have a great cricket for the year 2020. Though Kohli is considered to be one of the finest batsmen in the Indian Cricket side, he had a failed tournament this year against New Zealand as their side had lost the test series by 0-2.
