KL Rahul has performed well in every possible position in India’s top five in the last months. And He also achieved fair success in every position.

Sanjay Manjrekar Praising Rahul
KL Rahul is still continuing his good batting format from the T20I to the ODIs. He has scored unbeaten 88 runs in 64 deliveries in the first ODI of three-match series against New Zealand on Wednesday.
The former Indian batsman Sanjay Manjrekar was amazed by KL Rahul’s batting attack in the first ODI. And he called Rahul a “360-degree” player of team India.
Being impressed by the amazing performance of KL Rahul, Sanjay Manjrekar has tweeted that “Only KL Rahul can make 360 degrees batting look orthodox and classical.”
India’s Performance In ODI
New Zealand’s substitute captain Tom Latham won the toss and decided to bowl first. He invited India to bat, after which Rahul entertained the fans with 6 sixes and 3 boundaries in the first ODI on Wednesday.
Shreyas Iyer made his maiden ODI hundred, while Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal failed to impress in their debut game for India. Both the openers were sent back to pavilion in the first nine overs.
Contributions from Virat Kohli by scoring 51 and KL Rahul by scoring 88* helped India to post 347-4 from 50 overs.
New Zealand’s Reply To India
New Zealand openers Martin Guptill and Henry Nicholls replied with a solid start. Nicholls laid the foundation for the chase by scoring his 10th ODI half-century.
And Ross Taylor helped New Zealand to chase down the 348-run by scoring an unbeaten century.
New Zealand took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after the win. And now both the teams will battle in the second ODI which will be played in Auckland on Saturday.
