Sachin Tendulkar Conveys Birthday Wishes To Brian Lara:
On Saturday, West Indies’ batting hero Brian Lara turned 51. Widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time in a century that had stalwarts like Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Rahul Dravid and so on, on that occasion the West Indian received wishes from many quarters within the cricket fraternity. At the top of the batting charts, Tendulkar led the way in wishing his longtime rival. “Wishing a happy birthday to my fellow Taurean. Has been great fun lately catching up with you. The International Cricket Council (ICC) also tweeted to the former West Indies captain their birthday wishe and asked fans to rate their favorite innings of Brian Lara. India batsman KL Rahul tweeted: “Happy birthday # legend @BrianLara Have nice birthday.”
Shikhar Dhawan, who in limited-overs cricket opens the batting for India, also wished Lara at the occasion. “Happy birthday to the king, the Prince of Trinidad & Tobago and a wonderful girl @BrianLara Hope you have a beautiful year ahead and we will be doing our dance lessons soon,” Dhawan said.
