Rohit Sharma On The Toughest Bowler At The Nets:
The Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma is one of the modern-day’s most prolific batsmen. The right-hand batsman, who came into the Indian team a decade ago, has been cited as one of cricket’s brightest talents. Rohit Sharma has gone on to become a veteran in limited game formats and is gradually being known in the Test format.
The lad from Mumbai is renowned for hundreds of his daddy. There’s hardly any bowler who can put the shackles on his attack when Rohit Sharma gets moving. Yet, recently, Rohit Sharma revealed the name of an Indian bowler who is the toughest to face in the game.
While speaking on a sports show with Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues, Rohit Sharma said Mohammed Shami is the best bowler he’s ever faced in the nets. He added that the net sessions pitches are normally lush green with plenty of moisture in them.
Rohit Sharma further said Mohammed Shami is the hardest bowler to face in the game, as they’ve played a lot more against him in the network. Rohit Sharma added that Jasprit Bumrah is also difficult to deal with but since 2012-13 he has been playing alongside Mohammed Shami and also faces Jasprit Bumrah in the Mumbai Indian nets. Rohit Sharma further said he did not face Jasprit Bumrah as much as he did with Mohammed Shami.
Rohit Sharma also commented on the two pacer rivalry. He said Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah usually compete with each other on who beats the batsmen more, who hits a batsman more on the head, so they compete with each other and this creates a tough task for the Indian batsmen. As if now all the cricket players across the globe are enjoying the forced break imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
