Ravi Shastri: Let’s Build New Energy To Fight Corona
Indian head coach Ravi Shastri and off-spinner Harbhajan Singh have urged Indians to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to come together and show solidarity in our fight against the corona pandemic.
Prime Minister Modi on Friday addressed the nation through live telecast on Television where he asked the people of the country to switch off the lights of their homes and hold diyas, candles, and mobile flashlights at 9 pm on Sunday for 9 minutes to show solidarity and mark India’s fight against coronavirus amid lockdown.
Cricketers have been at the forefront in the fight against the deadly virus by donating money and educating people on how to deal with the outbreak by taking necessary precautions to avoid getting infected by the virus.
Head coach Ravi Shastri and spinner Harbhajan Singh have appealed to people to follow the Prime Minister’s instructions.
Shastri asked people to light a lamp or torch or candle to reignite the united strength of the crores of Indians.
He said on his Twitter, “To reignite the united strength of 130 Crore people, let us light a lamp | a candle | torch | mobile flashlight at 9 pm for 9 minutes on Sunday – 5th April. Let’s build up a new energy to fight this #COVID crisis #IndiaFightsCorona #SocialDistancing “
Harbhajan: We Are Proud Of Our Leader Modi
Harbhajan Singh also urged people to stay home and continue to be safe. He advised people to switch off lights and use candles, torch, mobile instead but to do it from their houses and not venture into streets.
