“The Asian Cup matches will start from September of this year,” he said.
Earlier Statements by Wasim Khan
“If India won’t come to play Asia Cup in Pakistan, Pakistan won’t participate in T20 WC, 2021″. He said these words concerning the Asia Cup being hosted by Pakistan. He now dismissed those reports.
Cricket Fans troll Khan over the statement
Indian and other cricket fans trolled Wasim Khan for his statement regarding Asia Cup through Twitter and Facebook. If Pakistan Does not play T20 World Cup, it will be a loss to the Pakistan team only and the Indian team won’t lose anything.
Wasim Khan’s new statement regarding Asia Cup and T20 World Cup
He said that they need to be convinced about the security of their players for the 2021 World Cup, which is going to held in India. If they are granted visas to play in the ICC tournament, it will be factually incorrect to state that the Pakistan team will pull out of a World Cup if India doesn’t come to play Asia Cup in Pakistan.
Wasim Khan praises Sourav Ganguly
He also said that he has so much respect for the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. And he doesn’t want to discuss it deeply now. He will hopefully do that in the future.
