Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni played a host to the newly-wed duo of Indian cricket Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma in Dubai. Earlier this month, Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot with famous choreographer Dhanashree Verma. The newly married couple took off to Dubai for their honeymoon. India’s legend MS Dhoni and his Sakshi, who are also currently in Dubai, invited Chahal and Verma for dinner to celebrate the new phase in the 30-year-old’s spinner’s life.

MS Dhoni hosts Chahal and Dhanashree in Dubai
“Extremely happy & blessed,” Chahal captioned the pictures on Instagram. Chahal’s wife Dhanashree also took her social media to account to thank MS Dhoni and Sakshi for a “lovely dinner” and for making them feel at home. “Extremely blessed That’s all I can say Thank you @mahi7781 @sakshisingh_r for a lovely dinner Felt like home,” read Dhanashree’s post.

30-year-old Chahal recently returned to India after featuring for team Indian in their tour of Australia. Photos from the marriage went viral on social media. The couple was looking adorable in their marriage photos. Dhanashree Verma took her Instagram account to share her wedding photos. She captioned the photo “We started at “Once Upon A Time” and found “Our Happily Ever After,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”

Chahal and Verma got engaged earlier this year in August. 24-year-old Dhanashree is a famous Bollywood choreographer and a YouTuber. Apart from that, she is also a qualified doctor. Chahal first met Verma earlier this year in April, when the cricketer joined her dance academy. Verma, while speaking about their relationship, said “During the lockdown, Yuzi decided to learn a few new things, including dance. So, he got in touch with me and we started our classes. Slowly we became friends and sort of felt a connection.”
