#1 Unmukt Chand
He was the toast of the U-19 World Cup in 2012 as he led the Indian side to a U-19 World Cup win in Australia. Chand in fact smashed a century in the finals to take the side home. But unlike his predecessors who led India to U-19 World Cup glory, Chand couldn’t make it to the senior Indian team. He couldn’t succeed at the IPL level too as the chances were few and far between. Chand took the tough decision to play as a domestic player in the MLC. He will look to prove a point in this tournament.
#2 Sarabjit Ladda
He was one of the key members of the Punjab domestic team. Sarabjit Ladda represented three sides in the IPL too. Ladda played for Delhi Daredevils in 2010 and for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2015. He even represented the Gujarat Lions in the 2016-17 season. But he became a prominent name playing in the Ranji Trophy for Punjab.
He scored 2,686 runs in 38 FC games at an outstanding average of 51.65. Ladda scored 15 fifties and smacked 6 centuries. But an Indian call never appeared on the horizon. He too will serve as a domestic player in the MLC. The 37-year-old Ladda will try to showcase his worth through this tournament.

#1 Martin Guptill
He is one of the highest run-getters in the T20I format. Martin Guptill until not so long was one of New Zealand’s biggest mainstays in white-ball cricket. He is a fearsome striker of the cricket ball. Guptill can hit both pace and spin in the shortest format of the game. LAKR will bank on Guptill to provide them with quick-fire starts. With the ODI World Cup scheduled in the next couple of months, Guptill will look to express himself in this tournament.

The left-arm Australian seamer is a potent force with the new ball. Jason Behrendorff played a significant role in Australia’s semifinal journey in the 2019 ODI World Cup. His biggest strength is to pick wickets in the powerplay. In a tournament like the MLC where is little time for teams to assess a player’s strengths and weaknesses, Behrendorff can prove to be quite a handful.
