Martin Guptill, the New Zealand batsman, used a swear word in Hindi. On Sunday, after the second T20I which was going on at Eden Park in Auckland between the hosts New Zealand and India. In the five-match T20I series, India beat New Zealand by seven wickets to lead it 2-0.
After the match got over, Yuzvendra Chahal, the leg-spinner of India, took the microphone from Jatin Sapru, the anchor of Star Sports, and approached Guptill who was chatting with Rohit Sharma
The pair was greeted by Chahal who said, “ What’s up boys.” To Chahal’s surprise, the opener of New Zealand responded with a cuss word.
Guptill Gives A Shocking Response To Chahal
The response of Guptill to Chahal was “Kya hai G****? Standing beside him, Rohit Sharma was in splits, while Chahal, who was shell-shocked, informed them that they were being watched live on television.
India won both the matches played in Auckland. India had chased the target of 204 runs with an over to spare in the first ODI. New Zealand’s challenging total was not enough for India as Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul batted well.
Virat Kohli with his 45 off 32 balls anchored the innings during the middle overs. With his knock, he allowed batsmen at the other end to score freely.
Even in the second match, Rahul and Iyer did a good job again for India while Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were dismissed early during the chase.
In the end, KL Rahul, who was not out with 57 off 50 balls, scored his second consecutive fifty and 11th overall half-century of his T20I career. On the other hand, Iyer fell short of his half-century by six runs at 44.
