Australia Players Are In A Bio-Secure Bubble In Southampton:
The Australian cricket team is in Southampton ahead of their limited-over series against England. Players are actually in a bio-secure bubble, and while it’s hard for someone to remain co-opted in a restricted space for a long time, players have found themselves surrounded by a lot of entertainment. Cricket Australia posted a video on Sunday showing what the players were up to, including a gym dance and a high-octane Formula One simulator.

The beginning of the video shows Mitchell Marsh, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa tossing a leg in the gym. Speaking on the video, all-rounder Stoinis says, “All the boys are going well.” “The fact that you can’t leave the hotel encourages all the boys to hang out a lot more, so we’re all competing with each other,” Stoinis said.
“Today’s golf starts for a couple of the boys, so it helps the fun and lets the competitive juices flow,” Stoinis said. “There’s an F1 simulator. It’s pretty good, but it’s not that fast. We’ve got a table tennis, we’ve got a pool, we’ve got some darts, a gym around the corner-it feels like we’ve got it all,” said Stoinis.
“All the boys have their PlayStations, so it keeps us occupied,” he concluded. Australia will host three T20 Internationals (T20Is) beginning on September 4. The two teams will then play a three-game ODI series starting on September 11.
