According to our report, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed on November 29, Friday that Hasan Ali was ruled out of the two home Tests against Sri Lanka with a rib fracture.
Hasan, who was scheduled to play against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a last week’s ninth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy for central Punjab, pulled out of the contest following pain on the left rib.
In Karachi, the pacer then underwent precautionary scans that showed fractures in the cortical rib. The injury will now take six weeks to heal, and the pacer at the National Cricket Academy will begin his rehabilitation process.
Pakistan, who are as of now playing Tests in Australia, will have a country without precedent for the longest configuration in more than ten years. The main Test starts in Rawalpindi on December 11 with the subsequent game planned to start on December 19.
