KL Rahul In T20Is Series Against New Zealand
KL Rahul was in great form in India’s win in T20Is with a lead of 5-0 T20I against New Zealand. He hit a half-century in just 27 balls in the first T20I match. In the 2nd match, he scored the highest runs and that is 57 off 50 and helped India to win the match.
Somehow he failed to show any significant performance in the 3rd T20I and managed to score only 27 runs in 19 balls. In the fourth match of the T20I series, Rahul scored 39 off 26. And in the last match of the series, he made a run of 45 in 33 balls.
Rahul On 2nd Spot In ICC T20I Rankings
This consistent form of KL Rahul kept him retained at the second spot in the ICC T20I rankings. His splendid performance in the T20I and ODIs led him to triumph the spot. However, India won the T20I series with 5-0 lead but lost the following ODIs by 0-3.
Rahul has an amazing batting career in the T20Is and ODIs. He played 41 T20I matches and scored a total run of 1461 in them. In his ODI career, he has appeared in 32 matches and scored 1239 runs. Presently, Rahul is in the second position with 823 points to his name.
