Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir retired from all formats of international cricket on Thursday, December 17. Referring to his decision, Amir blamed Pakistan’s Cricket Board for mentally torturing him. 28-year-old Amir made his debut for Pakistan in 2009 and has featured in a total of 36 Tests, 61 ODIs, and 49 T20Is. The southpaw also played for the Galle Gladiators in the recently conducted Lanka Premier League 2020. Amir’s side reached the finals of the competition but was bested by Jaffna Stallions in the decisive stage.
