In the whole 2007 WorldT20 tournament, team India played two memorable games against arch-rivals Pakistan. And one of those is the fantastic final when Indian players bravely commanded over the neighbors. But the group matches played between these two countries was even so closer and had to be decided the fate of the team on the ball by ball and the match concluded in a tie.

13 years ago, this extraordinary match was played in Durban. After batting first, team India scored 141 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in which Robin Uthappa took the charge and made 39 runs in 50 balls. Irfan Pathan and MS Dhoni were making important contributions.
In the complete match, Indian bowlers didn’t let the Pakistani batsmen take runs, but Misbah-ul-Haq’s 53 in 35 balls kept Pakistan in that match. But in the last over, Misbah was run-out and team India held on for a tie.
Those days, there was no super over. To break the tie, five players had to bowl and hit the stumps. While on the first three balls, Pakistan couldn’t hit the stumps but from the Indian side, Harbhajan, Uthappa, and Sehwag hit the stumps and India won the match.
Many teams of the Indian Premier leagues have decided to celebrate this glorious victory.
