Team India thrashed Sri Lanka in their continuing tournament, but there are a number of encouraging aspects to the home side. Young players, like Avishka Fernando, Charith Asalanka, Chamika Karunaratne, have had to struggle hard to achieve success at others (opponents), with the exception of the first ODI. Young Wanindu Hasaranga (all-rounder) was also at the tops of his A-game series. Here is Muralitharan About Hasaranga Bowling.
Muralitharan About Hasaranga Bowling
The leg-spinner received 2-wickets in the opening T20I after a number of remarkable breakouts in the ODI series. In addition, Hasaranga was one of Sri Lanka’s only a few accurate performers historically. While he may take wickets without giving many runs, his outstanding abilities make him an even more important factor.
Because of the similar situation, the former Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan believes that the clubs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) should be auctioned along with Hasaranga the following year. Furthermore, the famous cricketer also said that Hasaranga will find it difficult to perform in IPL because only 4 foreign players may participate in playing XI’s.
Hasaranga bowls well in the T20s most of the time: Muralitharan
“IPL franchise should look at him. But the problem is if it’s a local player, he walks into the side. But if it’s a foreign player, you have to see which franchise wants a foreign spinner. It’s a tricky thing. They will buy him but playing him is something that will not be easy for a franchise. Because some franchises look mostly at Indian spinners rather than foreign spinners,” Muralitharan said in an Interaction.
“He will get a launch and if he gets a game or two and performs, then he will be a regular player. He bowls well in the T20s most of the time. In shorter games he is a very good bowler,” added the 49-year-old.
In the following season, IPL 2022 should be a ten-team event, including 2 additional teams. This often suggests that there would be more players in a major competition and it is great to watch whether or not Hasaranga is given approval.
Team India, who won the ODI 2-1 series, took a 38-run victory on the opening T20I, referring to the present T20I series. Lankan’s needs to advance its poor performances towards visitors. Sri Lanka, however, must do its best steps to prevent further loss of series production.
The 2nd T20I match, scheduled to take place on Tuesday (27th July).
