In Mohammad Shami, the Titans have a solid new ball enforcer. If Williamson manages to negate the Shami threat, SRH will be right on top. But if Shami dislodges Kane, it will be an early advantage for GT.

SRH made a solid acquisition in Rahul Tripathi. He has been SRH’s go-to batsman in the middle overs. Tripathi loves to take on the spinners. It was his attack against Varun Chakravarthy that turned the tide in SRH’s favor in the KKR game. Tripathi will hold the key against Rashid Khan. The former SRH spinner will be keen to impose himself on the game. His duel against Tripathi will have a big say on the game
#3 Aiden Markram vs Lockie Ferguson
There has been a certain calmness surrounding Aiden Markram this season. He looks at home finishing off the innings for Sunrisers. Markram has been severe on many bowlers this year. But he will be up against an in-form, Lockie Ferguson. The GT pacer has been spewing venom right through. His hard lengths are not easy for batsmen to get away with. Ferguson will severely test Markram.
#4 Shubman Gill vs Marco Jansen
After a bright start to the season, Shubman Gill has once again struggled in the IPL. He had two consecutive scores of 80+ in the first three games but since then, it has been downhill for Gill. Gujarat would love to have Gill back in form. He is the only proven batter in the top order. But he won’t have it easy against Marco Jansen. The tall left-arm seamer changed the game in a single over against RCB. He will be a big thorn in the flesh for GT.
#5 Hardik Pandya vs T. Natarajan
It is a battle of comebacks. The tale of Hardik Pandya and T. Natarajan has been nothing short of amazing this season. Both these players were written off before the season. These two though have made a stunning comeback. Pandya and Natarajan are now the key aces for their respective sides. This battle will have a defining impact in the game.
