A total of 1,214 players have been registered themselves for IPL 2022 Mega Auction and this list includes 896 Indian players and 318 foreign players. And a total of 33 players have been retained by the 10 franchises so far.
Australian players have always been precious whether it may be gaining the highest bids in the Auction or performing really well in the match. They have a special place in IPL and many of Australian players have a really good fan base in India. Few of the Australian players have also played a key role in their respective IPL franchises.
And a total of 59 Australian players have registered themselves to IPL 2022 mega auctions and out of those many popular players have kept their base price as Rs 2 Crocres, 1.5 C, and 1 C respectively.

Rs. 2 Crore – Nathan Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith, Matthew Wade, David Warner, Adam Zampa.
Rs. 1.5 Crore- Aaron Finch, Chris Lynn, Nathan Lyon, Kane Richardson.
Rs. 1 Crore – James Faulkner, Moises Henriques, Marnus Labuschagne, Riley Meredith, Josh Philippe, D’arcy Short, Andrew Tye.
Note: All the above players have been placed according to their base price.
One of the senior BCCI officials said – “More than 1,000 players have registered for the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Now the BCCI will separate 350-400 players and put them in the auction pool. Information about these players will reach all the franchises by next week. Most of the world’s biggest cricketers have registered for the auction,”
