Ajinkya Rahane, Mayank Markande, and Trent boult were traded by their respective IPL franchises. In exchange for Mayank Markande and Rahul Tewatia, Rajasthan royals have traded Ajinkya Rahane. On the other hand, Delhi capitals have traded Boult to Mumbai Indians.
After being traded the three cricketers have seen their salaries increased. In the 2018 IPL auction, Rahane got paid of INR 4 crores for representing Rajasthan royals. Now he earned an extra INR 1.25 crores his new franchise Delhi capitals ha picked him for INR 5.25 crores. On the other hand, Trent boult earned an extra INR 1 crore of a cash deal, he got paid INR 3.2 crores by Mumbai Indians franchise. In the previous IPL auction, Delhi capitals have paid him INR 2.2 crores.
Markande has made his IPL debut in 2018 only, this highly-rated leg spinner has got the biggest raise among the players who have been traded. He earned 1.8 crores while his previous franchise Mumbai Indians had paid him 20 lakhs in IPL 2018 auction before trading him to Delhi capitals Rajasthan royals paid INR 2 crores for him.
Markande is the first player in the IPL history who traded twice in a single window.in the exchange of sherfane rutherford west indies batsman, Delhi capitals have secured Markande’s services from Mumbai Indians. However off-spinner Ravi Chandran Ashwin has roped into Delhi capitals from kings xi Punjab.
Big names released
On Friday, all the eight franchises of the Indian premier league have released the list of their released players ahead of the IPL2020 auction which is scheduled to take place on 19th December. KKR ( Kolkata knight riders ) released their batting stars Robin Uthappa and Chris Lynn RCB( royal challengers Banglore ) has released Shimron Hetymer and Marcus Stoinis and other big names.
Surprisingly Delhi capitals parted ways with Chris Morris and Colin Munro. On the other hand sun risers, Hyderabad released Yusuf Pathan, Martin Guptill, and Shakib al Hasan.
