Although Rajasthan Royals lost the wicket of Yashashvi Jaiswal early, Sanju Samson and RR captain, Steve Smith knocked some breathtaking shots as they wanted to take the early benefits against the team of CSK. Sanju Samson hit nine huge sixes but ultimately dismissed by Lungi Ngidi, caught by Chahar for 74 runs.
After Samson David Miller and Robin Uthappa came but dismissed very early. Steve Smith grasps the main key of Rajasthan Royals to cross 200 runs as CSK was able to take three wickets so quickly.
Sam Curran claimed three wickets including the wicket of Steve Smith. But the last over was just out of imagination. 30 runs came from the last over and it became possible only because of Jofra Archer. He hit 3 sixes back to back and took the score of Rajasthan Royals to an amazing total. RR concluded with 216 runs with the loss of 7 wickets. Now CSK needs 217 runs to win the match.

Chennai Super Kings made a good beginning to their 217 runs target chase against the team of Rajasthan Royals. In the powerplay, Shane Watson hit four sixes but Rahul Tewatia cleaned him up after scoring 33 in 21 deliveries.
Very quickly CSK lost its two openers Murali Vijay (21) and Shane Watson (33) to Rajasthan Royal’s spinners- Shreyas Gopal and Rahul Tewatia. After Shane Watson, Sam Curran came to crease. And then Ravindra Jadeja came to crease. In the last over, it was hat-trick sixes by MS Dhoni. It seemed the consolation prize for CSK in this match but Rajasthan Royals have won the match by 16 runs.
