Siraj Chose To Stay With Team On For The Series Against Australia
The Indian Cricket Team’s official Instagram handle posted an image showing Mohammed Siraj with his Indian teammates. Shubman Gill can be seen on Siraj’s left, with Wriddhiman Saha, Mohammed Shami and Rishabh Pant sitting in the seats behind. Indian Cricket Board has still not announced their Test captain post Virat Kohli’s absence because of his paternity leave. Rohit Sharma will not be a part of the limited-overs leg of the tour, as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury. Rohit Sharma will be joining the tour after 1st Test against Australia. The tour begins on November 27, with the first ODI taking place at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Mohammed Siraj’s brother recently told Times of India that the RCB bowler wants to help India win the Test series and pay a fitting tribute to their father.
