Team India is all set to take on Sri Lanka in a limited-over tour which is all set to kick start from 13th July 2021 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Here is the India vs Sri Lanka full schedule 2021.
India’s Tour of Sri Lanka will begin with 3 match ODI’s and then followed by 3 T20I games. And the ODI series is also a part of the ICC World Cup Super League, which will decide the 7 teams for the 2023 World Cup. Even the T20 series is considered as a preparation for upcoming the T20 World Cup.
BCCI has sent a second-string squad as most of their players are already a part of the England tour. And in the absence of skipper Virat Kohli, Board has decided to give the new captaincy duties to Shikhar Dhawan with Bhuvneshwar Kumar as Vice-Captain. And former Indian batting legend Rahul Dravid has been appointed as the head coach for the team.
