With Shikhar Dhawan not being included in the ODI due to his injury, team India is now dealing with another blow in the form of Indian pacer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The Team India pacer is now not included in the upcoming three-match One Day International (ODI) match series against the West Indies Team due to his injury. The Mumbai pacer, Shardul Thakur, will most probably be his replacement for the series which is going to held from Sunday. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be going to be the second player who will be not able to take part after Team India lost Shikhar Dhawan to an injury, with Mayank Agarwal coming to replace him.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar Gets Replaced By Shardul Thakur:
“Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been taken out from the series and Shardul Thakur will be going to replace him,” a senior BCCI member privy to development stated to PTI on the basis of anonymity.
The Mumbai Pacer, Shardul Thakur was in the T20 team for the Bangladesh series and until Thursday he was playing Ranji Trophy match against Baroda Team. The exact reason for this injury is not yet disclosed, though it is believed that either his side strain or hamstring is injured.
The Indian Pacer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who made his comeback went wicketless for 36 runs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who had a couple of months lay-off due to his hamstring injury and side-strain, has again suffered after only three matches into his comeback.
Meanwhile, West Indies team all-rounder Dwayne Bravo on Friday declared his comeback to international cricket. “Today I confirm the declaration of my decision to make the comeback to International Cricket to all my fans and well-wishers all over the world,” the 36-year-old player stated.
