Apart from Dawid Malan, England’s lone centurion in the World Cup so far, none of the England batters have shown application. Their batters have given the impression of not knowing the pulse of the format.
They have won a solitary game against Bangladesh. England suffered a shock upset against Afghanistan. South Africa then handed them a huge hammering. England found the energy of Sri Lanka a bit too much and once again lost timidly. With just 1 win from 5 games, their campaign is on the brink.
