It was an emotional moment for the elder Pandya as he was seen tearing up while receiving his first ODI cap for India. He dedicated the cap to his late father while he was spotted whipping on his brother’s shoulder. The moment carried heavy importance in the life of the Pandya brothers.

Pacer Prasidh received the call-up after his stellar performances in the recently commenced Vijay Hazare Trophy in which he amassed 14 wickets in seven games at an average of 24.5. Prasidh has maintained an impressive record over the last couple of years in the domestic circuit.
As for Krunal, he was in a blistering form for the Baroda side in the Vijay Hazare tournament. The 29-year-old all-rounder pulled off two unbeaten centuries and two fifties in the 50-over tournament. Krunal Pandya has already played for India in 18 T20Is after making his debut in 2018.
