The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the calendar for the T20 World Cup in 2022. The T20 tournament is set to begin on October 16th, 2022, and finish on November 13th, 2022.

The competition will include 16 teams, with 12 of them advancing for the Super 12 stages. Australia, England, New Zealand, and Afghanistan, are now placed in Group 1, whereas India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh are placed in Group 2.

The Super 12 stages will kick off on October 22nd, 2022, with a thriller match between Australia and New Zealand. The next big fight is set for October 23rd, 2022, where India will face arch-rival Pakistan.

The qualifiers will be scheduled from October 16th to October 21st, 2022, to decide the four teams who will represent the 8 other teams that have already qualified for the competition. The Australian team won the T20 World Cup in 2021, defeating New Zealand by 8 wickets.
