Rishabh Pant has found one such admirer in English cricketer Tyma Mills. The 28-year-old Sussex cricketer only features in white-ball cricket and avoids playing in the longest format of the game due to injuries. He also added that he is not a fan of watch Test matches. However, every once in a while, he makes an exception when Pant takes the field to bat.
Mills stated that Pant makes Test Match exciting to watch. He added that it’s like a box office out there when Pant is batting. “I only play white-ball cricket, I don’t play fMatch our-day cricket due to injuries. In general, I don’t like watching traditional Test cricket but when Rishabh Pant comes to bat in a Test match, I am watching. It’s exciting isn’t it, its box office, it makes you want to watch the TV,” said Mills as quoted by Hindustan Times.
“He played a couple of eye-catching innings which was good to see. I like entertaining cricket. Even that first pitch in Ahmedabad when it was turning square, I liked it because there was something happening every ball. I personally really enjoyed the Test series,” concluded Mills. Pant will next feature for India against New Zealand in the World Test Championship finals.
