Sunil Gavaskar, the great batsman, has encouraged Virat Kohli to pursue Sachin Tendulkar’s assistance in regaining his batsmanship. Kohli, 32, does not have the greatest of experiences in international cricket over the previous 24 months, having failed to hit a century in that time. “He should give a quick call to Sachin Tendulkar and ask ‘what should I do?’. He should do what Sachin Tendulkar did in Sydney. Say to himself that I am not going to play the cover drive,” he added.
Virat had approached Tendulkar in 2014 when he was having a bad time on the England visit. Despite MS Dhoni’s departure from the biggest format, he regained his form and even became India’s regular Test captain during that year.
Virat has so far recorded scores of 0, 42, 20, and 7 in the ongoing Test series. In the due to the large, James Anderson moved on to defeat him for the 7th time. Sam Curran as well as Ollie Robinson also have been managed to get under Kohli’s skin.
